give up future for the brilliance of now

Can ayahuasca visions reveal our past lifes, I am being asked. Can it tell truth about future? I could not care less. If Bible advice about fortune telling calls it a sin, I only understand sin as practical mistake, that has its consequence not as accumulating future punishment from jealous dad in the sky, but as distracting from the brillance of the moment, distracting from possible improvement of present – and future quality of life that can be obtained precisely by taking away gaze from past and equally so from future and possible salvation, and fixing it on nuance of now, that magnifying glass of the medicine can help to see clearer. There is enough work in honing and pruning every detail in front of us, and by this I dont mean „ I am too overworked to think of the pyramids or future of the world or my life”. I mean I am enjoying myself too much with this current practice, the more I see washing dishes as no worse than couch lounging that awaits after.
