When you ask Shipibo maestros for guidance, inevitably, no matter the specifics of the issue, the answer will be simple and come down to CONCENTRATION.

It is not about more concepts, therapeutic modalities, supplements, techniques, philosophies, tools, programs, it is about less, about attention, where it goes, where we stop it from going. That is the path to infinite abundance, when gaze is not distracted, bounty of the present is discovered and right cause of action appears clearly. Do not look for it, concentrate on what is, and you will find it. Breathe, one after another, extend the breath, slow it down. When waiting for the medicine to kick in, stop waiting for anything, concentrate on what is. If you approach it with more expectation than sober meditation that same morning, when nothing grand was supposed to happen, than you are already ahead of yourself. Step back, whisper your intention, and drop it. Do not live in the destination, in the outcome, concentrate on the labour and not on its fruits, and fruits will come.

“When the dervish becomes perfect, whatever he wills that happens. Dervish attains perfection when he/she stops wishing”
