“Humble within wrong is good spirit, that is good spirit”, repeats many times Midnite in their reggae chant “Kingdom Trees”. We sometimes play it in the ceremony, not just because it speaks about trees.
It is often difficult for us to remain humble and admit when we are ourselves in the wrong and are being pointed this out. But the way I understand these lyrics, is that a measure of true humbleness and the way to real spiritual growth, towards the light-ness that the highest of trees reach, is to remain humble while BEING WRONGED. This the same message that Dalai Lama preaches that your greatest teacher of patience, forgiveness, tolerance, mental equinimity is your enemy, without him, without a challenge, how else can you test your self and transcend.
This is the answer too for all the obsessions about negative energies, about energetic parasites, all the fantasies of fighting that some bring into the spiritual work. I have literally heard this many times : he/she is ruining my ceremony / my work, or is some cases, funny enough, blocking my path to enlightenment.
Maybe this enemy, this being wronged is the path.
